Rep. Luna to Give Salary Up During Government Shutdown

This afternoon, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna announced that she will be foregoing her salary in the event of a government shutdown. "My family and I are joining our friend Rep. Matt Gaetz in giving up my salary amidst the shutdown. We are standing by and fighting for the American people."

This afternoon, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna announced that she will be foregoing her salary in the event of a government shutdown. 

“My family and I are joining our friend Rep. Matt Gaetz in giving up my salary amidst the shutdown. We are standing by and fighting for the American people. With the current economy, Americans are spending an additional $700 a month on living expenses and over $9,000 a year,” Rep. Luna stated.

“We can’t continue down this reckless path of spending. Single subject bills. NO CR!”
